Go back to basics with this guide to kitchen gardening. Hosted by Somerset nursery Pennard Plants and taking place at Kilver Court, the day will focus on:

• the use of soil, composts, manures and fertilisers;
• how to plan ahead for successional crops;
• using cloches for early/late crops;
• and selecting the best rhubarb and herb cultivars.
