Shepton Mallet's pantomime is up and running to the applause of eager audiences.

The curtain rose on the spectacular first night of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves on Tuesday night.

There are now just four more chances to see the pantomime being staged by the Shepton Mallet Theatre Group at St Paul's School in the town.

There are just a few tickets left available to buy at the door for performances tonight, tomorrow and Saturday night ( and for the Saturday matinee performance at 2pm.

Tickets cost £10 for adults or £8 for children and concessions. A family ticket, which admits two adults and children, is £30.
