Would you pay for a safer Shepton?

Avon and Somerset Police Authority are inviting people in the area to have their say on the policing part of council tax, in an online survey.  There are just six days left to have your say on matters relating to the proposed council tax freeze, which the Authority's Chair, 
Dr Peter Heffer warns could be storing up trouble for the future.  

Dr Heffer said "The freeze sounds good on paper but is actually quite short-sighted and stores up bigger problems for us the following year."  According to the authority this comes "on top of the challenging £40m comprehensive spending review (CSR) cuts."
