Excellent Guest Ales
An excellent little place to pop into for a swift pint or a few more! A couple have recently (6 months or so?) taken over and the "club" atmostphere referred to has abated. I often avoided the place as it was definitely very cliquey. Now....the couple who run it are so friendly, taking the trouble to learn names and remember your order? As a group we're generally in there once or twice a week at lunch. There's always one or two good guest ales on, including a good pint of Doombar.

Beautiful little pub
Ive been in the 'Vaults' a few times over the years and Ive loved it many times over, but every so often it seems like a club (unlike 'The Club' ironically), but that seems to be just because it has a solid group of regulars which is probably a sign that its as good a pub as it seems. Definitely worth a visit though.
