Ive been in for the first time in a while recently, and I struggled to get my daughter out! Dredge and Male shouldn't be overlooked if you are after *something* either as a gift or one of those thingamys you cant find anywhere else. Really helpful and stocked to the hilt. Great to see it busy and loving the new frontage!

A really nice, old style shop that has all sorts. Id rather go here than one of the out of town places any day. Ok, what the other reviewer said about the frontage is true, but you'll probably only notice when they are shut as there is usually stuff out the front like buckets, brooms, mops etc. Thats MY kind of shop!
I love this shop. Its been there for what feels like forever and this is noticable by the frontage. The window ledge does not seem to have been painted since ronseal was invented and the telephone number on the front has 4 digits - predating the mid 80's digitization of Shepton exchange and adding a '34' to everyones number.
All that aside, its a great place to go if you are doing some decorating or are looking for an interesting gift. It is one of those shops which it is hard to say exactly what is is; not quite a modern DIY store, not quite an iron mongers, and much more than a gift shop. Just go in - you'll work it out.
An asset to the town, but get some tools and paint out and sort out that frontage!
