I have to agree with many of the comments already made, Penn’s have become part of the history of Shepton over the years and there is a reason for this success. Their detailed approach to customer service sets them ahead of many other local jewellery shops and with such a strong family history behind the name; it really is a pleasure to shop here.

An asset to the business scene here, Penn's puts HM Samuel and the like to shame! They do a great range of jewelery and they won't sell you stuff for the sake of it,they will actually listen to what you're after and work out what you need from them. The service is second to none and you feel so much better giving your money to small, family run independent than to the nonsense places on the high street.
A really nice place with friendly staff. They give you 100% of their attention, which can be frustrating if you are behind the person receiving that attention (I would suggest popping back!). A proper family business, such a shame about old Mr Penn, God rest his soul.
Penn's has been a fixture in the town for as long as I can remember. If you are stuck for a gift, they will help you choose and even wrap it for you, which I have to say has saved my bacon on more occasions than I recall.
The staff are as pleasant and genuine as you could possibly ever wish for. If you are a high flying city slicker though, the stock is aimed at the long established customer base and be aware that this quality of service can take time and on busy days you should simply expect to wait. It will be worth it though!
